Intel's Latest Processor Lineup

Intel is expanding its desktop Core Ultra 200 "Arrow Lake-S" lineup with new 65 W models at the 2025 International CES. Additionally, the company is introducing the "Arrow Lake" microarchitecture to the mobile space. A total of 22 processor models are set to be launched in January, with a focus on the "Core 2-series" processor model numbering, according to Tom's Hardware.

The Core Ultra 200H series includes processors for conventional thickness notebooks in the 28 W to 45 W class, based on the "Arrow Lake-H" silicon. The Core Ultra 200HX series is designed for premium gaming notebooks and portable workstations, featuring processors in the 55 W to 65 W class with CPU overclocking capabilities on select models.

On the other hand, the Core Ultra 200U series utilizes the "Meteor Lake Refresh" silicon for ultraportables in the 7 W to 28 W segments. The Core H 200 and Core U 200 series, based on the "Raptor Lake" monolithic silicon, target mainstream notebooks.

The Core Ultra 200H series features a modified version of the "Arrow Lake" chiplet CPU with a smaller Compute tile and a larger Graphics tile compared to the "Arrow Lake-S." The lineup includes models such as Core Ultra 9 285H, Core Ultra 7 265H, and more.

Meanwhile, the Core Ultra 200HX series is based on "Arrow Lake HX," offering a large Compute tile and more I/O from the SoC tile. The lineup consists of models like Core Ultra 9 285HX, Core Ultra 7 265HX, and others.

Intel's decision to use the older "Meteor Lake Refresh" microarchitecture for the U-segment processors may be related to the "Lunar Lake" series launched in 2024. The company aims to keep premium ultraportables on "Lunar Lake" while offering a cost-effective option for the U-segment processors based on "Arrow Lake."

Lastly, the Core non-Ultra U/H series lacks an NPU and features older CPU and graphics IP based on the "Raptor Lake" silicon. This line includes processors like Core 9 270H, Core 7 250H, and more.
