GIGABYTE Unveils New B850M Force Motherboard
GIGABYTE has recently introduced a new B850 motherboard on its website, known as the B850M Force. This microATX form-factor motherboard is part of GIGABYTE's SOC Force series, which harkens back to the popular GA-Z170X-SOC Force and GA-Z97X-SOC Force models that were well-received by Intel users in the past. Unlike the B850 Ice series with its white designs, the Force series brings back the striking orange aesthetics that were a hit with users a decade ago.
The GIGABYTE B850 Force motherboard is based on AMD's B850 chipset and is compatible with a wide range of AMD Ryzen processors for the AM5 socket, including the latest 9000 series CPUs. It features an 8+2+2 phase digital VRM with heatsinks, supports up to 128 GB of DDR5 memory, and offers storage connectivity through three M.2 slots and four SATA 6 Gb/s connectors. Expansion options include PCIe x16 and x4 slots, while connectivity features include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, and various USB ports.
In addition to its retro orange appearance, the B850 Force motherboard includes a PS/2 port for those who appreciate vintage technology. Display outputs include HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 for high-quality visuals. The motherboard also boasts GIGABYTE's X3D Turbo mode for optimized performance with Ryzen 9000 processors. Pricing and availability details have not been disclosed by GIGABYTE at this time.
