LIAN LI Unveils EDGE GOLD Series Power Supply
LIAN LI, a top manufacturer of computer chassis and accessories, has introduced the EDGE GOLD series power supply. This new addition to the T-shaped PSU lineup is designed for dual-chamber and tower cases, featuring longer cables than the original EDGE PSU. The EDGE GOLD sets a new standard for connectivity and maintenance with innovative features such as a removable USB/PWM expansion hub and a magnetic dust filter. This fully modular PSU is equipped with industrial-grade EPCOS capacitors, ensuring stable and reliable power delivery while meeting ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards. Available in black or white, the EDGE GOLD PSU comes in 1200 W, 1000 W, 850 W, and 750 W models.
Centralized Connectivity
The EDGE GOLD includes a removable USB/PWM hub that can be attached directly to the power supply or placed inside the case using an 8-pin PCIe interface. It offers four USB 2.0 headers for up to eight downstream ports and has a total output of 2.5 A. Additionally, it features six 4-pin PWM connectors supporting up to 2 A each for UNI FAN groups. The hub, which enhances the LIAN LI Wireless ecosystem, comes with the EDGE GOLD 1200 W and 1000 W models but is also available for separate purchase.
A Refined Form Factor
The EDGE GOLD maintains the T-shape design of the EDGE series, providing an outward-facing modular strip for easy cable access. The new removable magnetic dust filter simplifies cleaning by replacing the previous intake grille. The filter detaches easily via a pull tab, and the mesh design allows for excellent airflow with a high 66.9% porosity. The 120 mm fluid dynamic bearing PWM fan supports zero RPM mode for silent operation. Models up to 1000 W have a max fan speed of 2000 RPM, while the 1200 W model reaches 2400 RPM for optimal performance.

The EDGE GOLD features industrial-quality EPCOS and Japanese capacitors, ensuring stable performance in various conditions. With an 80 Plus Gold rating for efficiency, the series includes multiple protections such as OCP, OVP, OTP, OPP, SCP, and UVP. Backed by a 10-year warranty, the EDGE GOLD is built to last.
Longer Premium Cables
The EDGE GOLD PSU comes with extended and braided textured cables, providing clean cable routing for larger PC builds. Pre-installed cable combs on the motherboard 20+4 pin, CPU, PCIe 6+2 pin, and 12V-2x6 cables ensure a tidy setup. Two sets of custom SATA power cables, Y-Type and Extender Type, are included to reduce cable clutter when connecting multiple devices.
