ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) Announces New OLED Gaming Monitors
ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has unveiled two new 27-inch OLED gaming monitors—the Swift OLED PG27UCDM and Strix OLED XG27AQDPG. These monitors feature the latest fourth-generation ROG QD-OLED technology for exceptional visuals and infinite contrast, as well as the latest ROG OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0 technology to reduce onscreen flicker during intense gaming.
Swift OLED PG27UCDM
The PG27UCDM is the world's first 27-inch 4K OLED gaming monitor with a superfast 240 Hz refresh rate and a pixel density of 160ppi for sharper images and clearer text. It supports Dolby Vision and HDR10 formats, and offers extensive connectivity options including DisplayPort 2.1a UHBR20, HDMI 2.1, USB-C with 90-watt Power Delivery, and a USB hub. The monitor also features the ROG DisplayWidget Center for quick access to monitor settings and OLED Care Pro features.
Strix OLED XG27AQDPG
The XG27AQDPG is the world's fastest OLED monitor, featuring a 27-inch 1440p QD-OLED panel with a 500 Hz refresh rate, 0.03 ms response time, 10-bit color, and 99% DCI-P3 gamut for smooth and lifelike gaming visuals. It also includes the new ROG OLED Care Pro technology for burn-in protection and Dynamic Brightness Boost for HDR mode.
ROG OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0 Technology
Both monitors come with ROG OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0 technology to minimize onscreen flicker for a comfortable viewing experience. This technology dynamically adjusts pixel brightness during refresh rate fluctuations, resulting in 20% less flicker compared to previous generation panels.
ROG OLED Care Pro
Additionally, the monitors feature ROG OLED Care Pro technology, including a Neo Proximity Sensor that detects the user's distance from the monitor. When the user is not detected, the monitor switches to a black screen to prevent burn-in. Other OLED protection features include pixel cleaning, screen saver, and taskbar detection.
Availability
The Swift OLED PG27UCDM will be available for preorder starting January 21st.
