NVIDIA has recently released a new hotfix driver version 566.45 WHQL, which is based on the latest Game Ready Driver 566.36. This update specifically targets issues related to gaming performance and stability. The hotfix is mainly focused on addressing micro-stuttering problems in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, as well as enhancing overall stability for Ubisoft games running on the Snowdrop engine.
The previous driver update included optimizations for S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chornobyl and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, along with DLSS 3 support. It also expanded GeForce Experience optimal settings for various titles such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Delta Force, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, and Red Dead Redemption. With this latest hotfix release, NVIDIA has successfully resolved stability issues. However, there is no mention of the overlay feature that reportedly caused a 15% performance decrease when using NVIDIA App.
