Check out the initial images of the retail packaging for the Intel Core Ultra 200-series "Arrow Lake-S" 65 W desktop processors. Intel introduced the series with Unlocked K-series SKUs in October 2024, and will be expanding it in January 2025 with 65 W models that do not have unlocked multipliers. The unlocked models do not include a stock cooling solution, while the 65 W models do. Although the appearance of the coolers is still unknown, it is possible that Intel will use its Laminar series fan-heatsinks that were first seen with the 12th Gen Core "Alder Lake."
The new Socket LGA1851 maintains compatibility with coolers from the previous LGA1700, allowing Intel to reuse the Laminar series. The Core Ultra 9 65 W retail box seems to be the largest, suggesting it may include the Laminar RH1 cooler, which is capable of effectively cooling the processor under maximum turbo power. This cooler features blue LED lighting. The retail boxes for the Core Ultra 7 and Core Ultra 5 65 W processors appear to have the same thickness, indicating they may come with the mid-tier Laminar RM1 cooler. The RM1 has a slightly thinner heatsink but includes an illuminated ring around the fan-frame. If Intel releases a Core Ultra 3 series (the successor to the Core i3), it is likely to include the Laminar RS1, the lightest variant that does not have any lighting. The first three images below show the standard variants of the 65 W SKUs, while the 4th and 5th images display the boxes of the "F" SKUs, which do not have integrated graphics.
