Exciting Leak Revealed About Upcoming ASUS ROG Flow Z13 Laptop
Recently, a new leak has surfaced regarding the Geekbench performance of the highly anticipated Ryzen AI Max+ 395 "Strix Halo" APU. AMD is set to launch the Strix Halo lineup at CES 2025, which is just around the corner. As expected, leaked listings of upcoming laptops and products have been appearing online, with the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 being the latest subject of rumors.
According to product listings from retailers, the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 will come equipped with impressive specifications. The highest-end variant will feature the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 APU with 16 cores and 32 threads, as well as an RDNA 3.5-based iGPU with 40 CUs, likely named the Radeon 8060S. This iGPU is anticipated to rival mid-range discrete graphics in terms of performance. Additionally, a slightly lower-tier variant will include a 12-core Ryzen AI Max 390 APU. The system will also include 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory and 1 TB of solid-state storage. While other memory and storage configurations are expected, they have not been listed yet.
The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 will feature a 13.4-inch 180 Hz display with 2.5 K resolution, an upgrade from its predecessor. However, the display will be an IPS panel, which may disappoint OLED enthusiasts. Pricing details have not been disclosed, but with CES 2025 approaching, we can expect to learn more soon. Given the recent "Strix Point" launch, a price increase is possible.
