GALAX Unveils the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 3X Graphics Card

GALAX has introduced the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 3X, a custom-designed graphics card that is considered to be one of its most budget-friendly products featuring the GPU. This card is positioned slightly below the SG, ST, EX Gamer, and HOF series. It comes with a sleek, multi-layered plastic cooler shroud and a triple-fan configuration. The cooling system is compact, only taking up 3 slots, and includes two aluminum fin stacks on either side of a set of heat pipes.

The PCB of the card covers only two-thirds of its length, allowing airflow from the third fan and some from the second fan to pass through the heatsink and exit through a cutout in the backplate. The fans do not have any lighting, with the only illumination coming from the GeForce RTX logo on top. While the card does not come with factory overclocking, GALAX provides a software-based "1-click OC" mode for users to utilize.

The RTX 4080 SUPER is powered by the "AD103" silicon, featuring 10,240 CUDA cores, 80 RT cores, 320 Tensor cores, 112 ROPs, and 320 TMUs, along with a full 64 MB L2 cache. The GPU is paired with 16 GB of 23 Gbps GDDR6X memory across a 256-bit wide memory interface, delivering a memory bandwidth of 736 GB/s.
