AMD Software Adrenalin 24.8.1 WHQL Update
AMD has recently released the latest version of AMD Software Adrenalin drivers, version 24.8.1 WHQL. This update includes game optimizations for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Open Beta, Concord, FINAL FANTASY XVI, and Star Wars Outlaws. Additionally, HYPR-Tune support has been expanded. Anti-Lag 2 support has been added for Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR'S CUT, and support and optimizations for Amuse 2.1 with FLUX.1 model are now available on select Radeon, Radeon PRO, and Ryzen AI series products.
Several issues from previous drivers have been fixed, including intermittent application crashes or driver timeouts in games like Black Myth: Wukong, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, and Pacific Drive or KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX-. Artifacts in games such as Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales or Rust have been addressed, as well as improvements in "Optimizing Shaders" time when launching Forza Motorsport. Issues with Anti-Aliasing and Anisotropic Filtering settings for some OpenGL applications have also been resolved.
There are some known issues that AMD is working on, including an intermittent corruption issue in Star Wars Outlaws that can be resolved by relaunching the game after changing certain in-game graphics settings.
