Gigabyte's Latest Gaming Monitor: The M27UA
There is a growing number of gaming monitors available in the market today, and Gigabyte has introduced their latest addition featuring a 4K SuperSpeed IPS panel. The Gigabyte M27UA comes with a 27-inch display, offering an 8-bit + FRC panel with 95 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, a typical brightness of 400 cd/m², and a 5 ms grey to grey response time. The M27UA boasts a 160 Hz refresh rate, making it one of the best IPS gaming monitors available, and it is AMD FreeSync Premium certified. On the software side, Gigabyte includes features like Aim Stabilizer Sync, Black Equalizer 2.0, built-in crosshairs, night vision, an FPS counter, and Gigabyte's OSD Sidekick for adjusting monitor settings through a Windows app.
Gigabyte has equipped the M27UA with two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, a USB Type-C with DP Alt mode support, and USB PD at 18 W. The Type-C port, along with one USB 3.2 Type-B port and three USB 3.2 Type-A ports, enable KVM functionality, with a dedicated KVM button at the back of the monitor. The monitor also includes a headphone jack, built-in 3 Watt speakers, and support for Picture in Picture and Picture by Picture. The stand allows for height and tilt adjustment, but does not swivel or pivot. One advantage of this monitor is its low power consumption of 34 Watts.
